The strong educational direction of Delhi Public School (DPS) Rishikesh, Raniphokhri, is guided by Principal Ms. Neelam Thapliyal, an accomplished academic leader with more than twenty-four years of experience in the field of education. Her goal is to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education and that the school remains a place where both students and teachers can perform at their best.

She focuses on keeping the school’s academic programs updated and aligned with student needs. With specialised expertise in curriculum design and fair assessment methods, she plays a key role in shaping effective teaching practices across the school. As a certified CBSE resource person, she also trains teachers on essential topics such as adolescent education, student well-being, and stress management.

Ms. Thapliyal holds advanced degrees in English and Psychology and has completed additional professional training from renowned institutions, including The Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Her contributions have earned her notable honours, such as the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Green Environment Promotion Award and the Uttarakhand Shiksha Ratna Award.
